The magical season for the peewee female tier 1 Rockets team continues with their latest, and dominate victory at the 2019 Wickfest tournament. The Rockets defeated the host Surrey team 1-0 in the finals, and outscored their opponents 27-0 in the five games over the weekend.
It鈥檚 the third all-girls tournament for the Rockets who have gone 17-0 in recent victories in 麻豆精选 and Richmond. The peewee Rockets girls currently sit in fourth in the 14 team peewee tier 3 boys league with an 11-3 record.
Wickfest, the Wickenheiser World Female Hockey Festival, is held at hockey arenas across the country to celebrating women in hockey. The female hockey tournament brings together teams from as far as Atlantic Canada and the United States.
The female Rockets will use the momentum as Wickfest tournament champions to continue on into their impressive season.
The roster includes: Reese Sliskovic, Gracie Graham, Kaitlyn Mallette, Jaia Freer, Kaitlyn Hillson, Jaelyn Spavor, Alex Rescky, Cassidy Bank, Denaya Buehner, Jiya Deol, Karington Mollin, Kyly Laybolt, London Jones, Madison Mahovlich, Mahala Umeris, and Ava MacLeod.
