Kyle Topping officially broke out on Saturday night in Kent, WA.
The 16-year-old rookie forward scored his first three Western Hockey League goals to lead the Rockets to a 5-1 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds.
It was also the Rockets (6-7-0) third straight victory.
Topping, a product of Salt Spring Island, now has seven points in his first 11 WHL games.
Jack Cowell scored his first WHL goal in the win, while Kole Lind, with his fifth of the season, rounded out 麻豆精选's scoring.
Rockets netminder Michael Herringer earned the win in net, losing his shutout bid in the final minute of the third period.
