UBC Okanagan newbie volleys her way to U SPORTS all-rookie squad

UBCO Heat's Olivia Boulding was named to the U Sports All-Rookie team on Thursday, March 13.

UBC Okanagan's Olivia Boulding made an impression around the league in her rookie year.

And for that, she was recognized at the 2025 U SPORTS All-Canadian banquet on Thursday night (March 13) as she was named to the U SPORTS All-Rookie team.

The Victoria native finished the season 11th in kills per set at 3.09 and 12th in total kills at 210, including having 10 or not kills in 10 of her 19 games played. 

She also recorded 248.5 points (3.7 per set), 148 digs, 24 blocks, and 25 aces.

Throughout the season, she was named UBCO Athlete of the Week twice and Canada West Athlete of the Week once.

She became the fourth UBCO Heat women's volleyball player in franchise history to earn the honour.
