Both teams have clinched a playoff spot.
They may meet in the one-versus-two Page playoff game.
The two remaining draws will determine who plays who and when, including the final draw of the round-robin.
Team Corryn Brown of Kamloops – coached by Vernon's Jim Cotter – is 5-0 going into her final two round-robin games at the B.C. Women's and Men's Curling Championships Friday, Jan. 24, at the George Preston Recreation Centre in Langley.
Team Kayla MacMillan is 5-1 and will meet Brown in the final preliminary round draw on the women's side Friday at 7 p.m.
Brown plays winless Sarah Wark of Abbotsford Friday at 2 p.m. Vernon's Alyssa Kyllo throws second rocks for Wark.
If MacMillan and Brown finish atop the standings, they will meet in the one-vs-two game Saturday at 9 a.m., with the winner getting a berth in the provincial final Sunday, Jan. 26, at 9 a.m.
The loser drops to play the winner of the three-versus-four game, which goes Saturday at 9 a.m. The semifinal will be played Saturday at 2 p.m.
MacMillan, and her front end of lead Sarah Loken and second Lindsay Dubue are the returnees from the 2024 B.C. championship team, skipped by the now-retired Clancy Grandy. MacMillan moved into the skip position from third, and added Sarah Daniels to the rink.
Heading into the Friday afternoon draw, Kristen Ryan of Maple Ridge and Taylor Reese-Hansen of Victoria were 4-2 and both teams had clinched playoff berths. Reese-Hansen takes on Holly Hafeli of Kamloops (2-4) while Ryan faces Steph Jackson-Baier of Victoria (2-4).
It is possible for Reese-Hansen to finish second at 5-2 if she wins her final game, and Ryan and MacMillan lose. Reese-Hansen and MacMillan would both be 5-2 and Reese-Hansen defeated MacMillan in the round-robin.
The women's champion will represent B.C. at the 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts Feb. 14-23 in Thunder Bay.
Playoffs in the 12-team men's championship begin Friday at 7 p.m. when A event qualifier Jason Kolomaya of Langley takes on the winner of the B qualifier, to be determined Friday at 2 p.m., when Penticton's Glenn Venance takes on Connor Deane of New Westminster.

The loser of Venance-Deane will drop into the C event to play the winner of a Friday match at 2 p.m. between Brent Pierce of New Westminster and Brad Thompson of Kamloops. Loser of that game is eliminated.
Six rinks were still in the hunt for the two C Event qualifying spots as of Friday afternoon.
Cameron de Jong of Victoria takes on Jay Wakefield of New Westminster at 2 p.m., with the winner advancing to face 2024 provincial men's runner-up Jason Montgomery of Victoria Friday at 7 p.m.
The winner of Pierce-Thompson returns to the ice Friday at 7 p.m. to meet the loser of the Venance-Deane B qualifier.
The winner of Kolomaya-Venance/Deane gets a berth in Sunday's championship game at 2 p.m.
The loser will drop to the semifinal Saturday night at 7 p.m. where they will face the winner of the C event qualfiers' matchup, which will be played Saturday at 9 a.m.
Vernon skip Rob Nobert was eliminated from the tournament Friday with a 7-5 loss to Pierce. Nobert went 1-3 with two of the defeats coming against Pierce.
Lake Country's Jeff Richard, bronze medallist in 2024, was knocked out Friday morning with an 8-3 loss to Montgomery. Richard finished at 2-3.
The winner Sunday will be the home province representative at the Montana's Brier Feb. 28-March 9 at Prospera Place in Â鶹¾«Ñ¡.
