The Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League will remain a four-team league in 2025.
After announcing the possibility of folding, the Vernon Tigers stated on social media they will return for the upcoming season.
The club put out an appeal for more experienced, skilled players prior to a pair of drop-in sessions at Armstrong's Hassen Memorial Arena and the team's annual general meeting, held Thursday, Feb. 27.
"The Vernon Tigers are happy to announce that we will take part of the 2025 TOSLL," said the club. "We still could use some more players to be sure we can sustain a team the entire season. Please continue to share our posts to prospects in the Vernon area."
The team could also use some financial help. The Tigers have sponsorship packages for $250 and $500. Any local businesses interested in supporting the Tigers is asked to send a direct message via the team's Facebook page.
"Thank you to everyone who attended tonight's (AGM) meeting, shared our posts and did what they could to help keep this team alive," said the Tigers.
The four-team league is made up of Vernon, Armstrong Shamrocks, Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ Raiders, and Kamloops Rattlers.
The Tigers' first home-game is slated for the end of May at Kal Tire Place North.
