The squad won silver at the South Okanagan tournament, hosted in Osoyoos and Oliver on the Nov. 10 weekend.
Vernon defeated the Vancouver Thunderbirds 2-1 in game one before falling to the Sea to Sky Bears, 4-2.
In game three, the Vipers thoroughly outplayed the West 麻豆精选 Warriors 5-2, before dismantling USA Hockey鈥檚 thunder rep team, 5-2.
In the final, the vaunted South Okanagan squad was too good, overpowering Vernon 6-2.
Leading the way in points for the Vipers was Samuel Levesque (three goals, two assists), while Kai Maleniza scored four goals in the five games.
This was the second tournament the U18 team has participated in, as they won silver in a Penticton event back in October.
In league play, Vernon is ranked third, with three wins and a tie in the Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association league standings, behind just South Okanagan and Penticton.
