Canadian rock heroes of the first order, Trooper, are making their first appearance at Vernon's Performing Arts Centre (VDPAC) April 25.
Tickets to see the Juno award-winning band go on sale Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m at ticketseller.ca.

Millions of records sold, a couple of dozen hits and ongoing sold-out shows across Canada, Trooper has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canada鈥檚 Walk of Fame and the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame.
With hit radio anthems We鈥檙e Here for a Good Time (Not a Long Time); Raise a Little Hell; Two for the Show; and The Boys in the Bright White Sports Car to name just a few, Trooper has earned multiple gold and platinum awards and their six-time platinum greatest hits, Hot Shots, continues to be one of Universal Music Canada's best selling catalogue CDs and one of the country's most enduring party soundtracks.
Additional hits including Pretty Lady; Good Ol鈥� General Hand Grenade; Round, Round We Go; Santa Maria; and Janine are Trooper hits that, according to writer Ryan Sparks, "have woven their way into the fabric of this country like no other bands have been able to do. Tune into any radio station from Vancouver to St. John鈥檚 and you鈥檙e bound to encounter one of their dozen hit radio anthems that are still featured in heavy rotation to this day.鈥�
Original founding members, singer Ra McGuire and guitarist Brian Smith, are no longer with the group.
