Okanagan Sports Weekend Roundup is a video series where Bowen Assman takes viewers through the week that was in the Okanagan Valley.

The holiday season has come and gone, and as 2025 begins, host Bowen Assman of Okanagan Sports Pulse takes viewers through the sports scene in the Okanagan over the break.

It was a few weeks dominated by curling and hockey. While Canada did not perform well at the 2025 World Junior Hockey Championships, there were a host of players competing for Okanagan teams that donned their nation's sweater at the tournament.

In curling, the mixed doubles national trials took place in Nova Scotia, and the 16-team tournament featured a Vernon father-daughter duo.

All that and more on this week's Okanagan Sports Roundup.
