Fast food lovers, your golden arch wish has been granted.
A third McDonald's location for will open up in Vernon by the end of 2025 across from Butcher Boys.
The McDonald's will be built at 5000 Silver Star Rd., part of a new, three-phased Business Park by Venture Commercial.
"Silver Star Gateway Business Park is Vernon's largest and most modern mixed-commercial centre," a release stated. "Two minutes away from the city's downtown core, the location is close to public transit routes, Highway 97, biking and walking trails and Vernon's Okanagan College."
Phase one and two of the project are for industrial and retail units. Businesses currently residing in the area include the Sky Volleyball Club and Polar Battery.
Phase three, where the golden arches will be, also has a large-scale medical office pending.
