Next time you are in Peachland, stop into the Porto Peach Restaurant for breakfast, seved until 2 p.m., or lunch.
Owned and operated by Claire Reeder, the quaint restaurant of 40 seats inside and 22 on the patio is located at 5830 Beach Ave. in Peachland's downtown core. In the summer months, it becomes an open-air restaurant. Porto Peach has a spectacular view and great atmosphere with the restaurant right across the street from Okanagan Lake. Long-time 27-year chef John Bailey is well-known in our area and serves up the delicious menu, all local and fresh. We had a lovely breakfast with the Mediterranean ham and cheese omelette and French toast. Both were nothing less than incredible. The lunch menu offers appetizers, shareables, burgers, sandwiches and salads. Unique to Porto Peach is their self-service Hot Sauce Bar. Check-out their special events, supper club and entertainment. Porto Peach is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
