A new initiative under the 麻豆精选 General Hospital (KGH) Foundation aims to educate about the importance of early detection when it comes to heart health.

SAVE BC, the Study to Avoid Cardiovascular Events in British Columbia, is raising awareness about the risks and the tests that help save lives.

A free public forum will be held April 16 at the 麻豆精选 Public Library on Ellis Street.

鈥淲e are excited to host this event which will inform our community about risk factors and the importance of early detection and intervention,鈥 states Dr. Frank Halperin, Medical Director of Cardiology at KGH and SAVE BC Principal Investigator.

The forum starts at 5 p.m. Following the two hour session will be a forum specifically for clinicians to get more in depth to better patient care.

Learn more or register for the forum at kghfoundation.com.
