An annual Christmas parade in 麻豆精选 was a success once again, but this time, in its new location.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, the fifth annual Parade for a Purpose took place in downtown 麻豆精选, on Bernard Avenue. The first four renditions took place in Kettle Valley.
A number of floats from many different organizations and companies in the community took part in the parade from Abbott Street, down Bernard to Bertram Street.
Thousands of 麻豆精选 residents were feeling the Christmas spirit and cheer as Bernard Avenue was lined with people the entire parade route.
According to the Parade for a Purpose website as of Dec. 14, the event has raised nearly $213,000, which all goes to the Youth Recovery House.
