A fundraising event is planned for the end of March will raise money for a Summerland animal sanctuary.
Stand Up for Animals, presented by Bellamy Homes, will be held Friday, March 29 at Dakoda鈥檚 Comedy Lounge, 1574 Harvey Ave., 麻豆精选.
The event features 麻豆精选 comedians who have performed at Just for Laughs Northwest and the 麻豆精选 Comedy Festival.
All ticket sales money will go to Star鈥檚 Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary in Summerland. The animal sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates abandoned pets and provides sanctuary for animals deemed not to be adoptable.
Tickets are $20 and are available through gonzoevents.com.
