The Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA) hosts its annual Butterfly Effect event on Saturday, July 13.
It is a meaningful opportunity for individuals to release a butterfly in remembrance of a loved one and create new memories.
鈥淚t is a deeply meaningful event that symbolizes hope, transformation, and the beauty of life transitions, reminding us of the enduring connections we had with our lost loved ones,鈥 said Natasha Girard, COHA executive director.
More than 400 butterflies will be released at the event at Falcon Ridge Farms (579 Rifle Road).
Activities include a children鈥檚 games, a memory wall to write a message, refreshments and live music.
