Global Heroes, and organization that shares inspiring community stories, has recognized Starbright Children鈥檚 Development Centre for its positive impact on Central Okanagan families.
The Starbright profile, on the Global Heroes website, highlights Colter and his mother, Jackie Blonarowitz.
鈥淲e know being included in their news program is due to the amazing professional staff we have and the wonderful, supportive families we serve,鈥� said Dr. Rhonda Nelson, Starbright鈥檚 executive director.
For more than five decades Starbright has been providing early intervention therapies and programming to babies, toddlers, and preschool children.
鈥淲e鈥檙e very proud to receive such recognition for the work we do and the community we have been working with for so many years,鈥� added Nelson.
The centre was also featured by Global Heroes in 2023.
Starbright has recently added a certified behaviour analyst to its staff. A position funded through a generous grant from a local foundation.
