Mamma Mia! Don't Stop! Peachland Canada Day to rock with tribute band

Activities are planned throughout the day for Heritage Park, Beach Avenue and 1st Street

Canada Day in Peachland promises to be a popular affair with an ABBA and Fleetwood Mac tribute band.

Activities are planned throughout the day for Heritage Park, Beach Avenue and 1st Street:

  • 1 - 8 p.m. - Bouncy castle and sparkle tattoos;
  • 1 - 1:45 p.m. - Leif David, children鈥檚 magic show;
  • 1:45 - 3 p.m. - Papa Thom and the Elderly Brothers Concert;
  • 2:30 - 4 p.m. - Kids t-shirt art with Peachland Community Arts Council;
  • 4:30 - 5 p.m. - Canada Day parade - Beach Avenue from 1st to 13th streets will be closed to traffic;  
  • 6 - 6:30 p.m. - mayor's address, national anthem (Papa Thom), cake cutting; 
  • 6:30 - 8 p.m. - ABBA tribute concert by Arrival & Dreams;
  • 8:30 - 10 p.m. - Fleetwood Mac tribute concert by Arrival & Dreams;
  • 10 p.m. -  Fireworks Over the Lake.

There will be a pancake breakfast at the 50+ Centre from 8 to 11 a.m. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children six to 12 years old, and free for children five and under.
