麻豆精选 RCMP nabbed a break-and-enter suspect moments after a crime was committed on Tuesday morning (Mar. 4)
Just after 5 a.m., officers were called to a business break and enter in progress in the 1300-block of Ellis Street. A man had left the scene just before police showed up. However, he was located nearby after a description was provided by the complainant.
鈥淟ive CCTV footage downtown from the City of 麻豆精选 was also instrumental in assisting officers to locate and arrest this suspect quickly and without incident,鈥� says Cpl. Michael Gauthier, media relations officer. 鈥淭his is another great example of the strong working relationship between the RCMP and the City of 麻豆精选 to target and deter property crime.鈥�
The 27-year-old 麻豆精选 man also had outstanding warrants for his arrest and remains in custody. He is scheduled to appear in court next on March 10.
