An elderly man has died after being crushed by his own vehicle on Thursday afternoon (Feb. 13).
Around 4:40 p.m., RCMP responded with emergency services to help an individual trapped underneath a vehicle they were working on on Pooley Road.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the car jack failed to lift the vehicle, resulting in the man being crushed. The man was announced dead at the scene by the BC Coroner Service.
"The 麻豆精选 RCMP offer sincerest condolences and thoughts to the family," reads an email statement. "To respect the family鈥檚 privacy during this traumatic time no other details will be released."
