The 麻豆精选 Acrobatic Gymnastics Team is tumbling into history at the Canadian National Gymnastics Championship.
The event will be held in Gatineau, Quebec, from June 6-9, and marks the first inclusion of acrobatic gymnastics (Acro) in the national competition.
鈥淗ighlighting the sport鈥檚 growing presence and recognition in B.C. and across Canada,鈥� states a release from the team.
鈥淭heir participation represents their dedication and talent and is a significant milestone for acro gymnastics in B.C.
Competing in the Women鈥檚 Group are Junelle Sabang, Sarah Lawless, and Erica Stojke. Olivia Clark and Noelle Lano will perform in the Women鈥檚 Pair category.
鈥淭he 麻豆精选 team is eager to contribute to the sport鈥檚 growing popularity and inspire future athletes,鈥� according to the release.
