Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡ council will consider changing allowed building heights in the Pandosy and Rutland neighbourhoods at its Mar. 11 meeting.
Council will be asked to give first reading to amend the Official Community Plan to implement sections of provincial housing legislation relating to small-scale, multi-unit housing and transit-oriented areas.
Buildings ranging from three to 14 storeys could be permitted from Wardlaw Avenue south to Swordy Road, and Abbott Street east to Gordon Drive for the Pandosy neighbourhood.
Structures up to 14-storeys are restricted to Pandosy Street between Groves and Cedar avenues, and Lakeshore and Watt roads from Lanfranco to Boyce-Gyro Beach Park.

Up to eight-storey buildings are designated to front Pandosy and Lakeshore between Wardlaw and Richter St., while 12-storey buildings could be permitted on KLO Rd. between Casorso Rd. and Gordon Dr.
Most of the neighbourhood appears designated for six-storey buildings.
In Rutland, 12-storey buildings are designated for an area between Hwy 33 and McIntosh Rd., and Aurora Crescent and Rutland Road North.
The map shows four and six-storey buildings designated for areas between Bryden and Rutland roads, and from just south of Highway 33 north to Leathead Rd.
