It is Election Day in Canada.
And, Canadians are showing up to polling stations across the nation to cast their vote in the federal election.
In the 麻豆精选 riding, four candidates appear on the ballot, Stephen Furh - Liberal, Tracy Gray - Conservative, Trevor McAleese- NDP and Catriona Wright - Green Party.
Black Press Media attended a downtown 麻豆精选 polling station to speak with voters about why they chose to exercise their democratic right, on April 28.
Answers ranged from pressure from the older generation and a sense of duty to vote, to wanting change or just wanting to feel validated to complain.
Polls in B.C. close at 7 p.m.
More than 25,000 people voted in the 麻豆精选 riding during advanced polls.
