Canada鈥檚 cannabis-fairy is campaigning again and he鈥檚 making a stop in 麻豆精选.
Pro-marijuana activist Dana Larsen is on his second tour called Overgrow Canada, despite the setbacks of last year鈥檚 tour which involved his arrest in Calgary.
Larsen will be giving a speech Thursday, April 6, 8 p.m., at the East 麻豆精选 Hall.
West 麻豆精选 is his second-to-last stop on his OverGrow Canada campaign which aims to have citizens planting plants in public locations in order to show 鈥渃ivil disobedience.鈥
Larsen is still facing charges and is currently out on bail, but he is expected to attend court hearings on April 9 and 10.
鈥淚f anything I think it makes it more important to keep doing this and to draw attention to this issue,鈥 he said.
鈥漈he idea that they鈥檙e going to charge me on cannabis seeds is ludicrous on many levels,鈥 adding stores across Canada carry the seeds.
He is worried about breaking bail, but he doubts he鈥檒l be spending time in jail. Calgary will be his last stop on the tour just in case something goes awry.

The seeds Larsen will be handing out will not grow plants with high levels of THC, the ingredient associated with feelings of euphoria, hallucinations and anxiety.
Last year, his stop in 麻豆精选 had a packed house, with people waiting outside for two hours to get seeds.
鈥漌e are aware of the event and won鈥檛 speculate on any police actions that may or may not be taken,鈥 said 麻豆精选 RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey.
