Penticton RCMP investigating single-vehicle crash

Penticton RCMP are investigating a single-vehicle incident that could be connected to a robbery.

Penticton RCMP are investigating a single-vehicle incident that took place on Sunday night, Jan. 26.

Around 8 p.m., a vehicle collided with a fence on a residential property in the 3400 block of Martin Street. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. 

According to police, a robbery happened in the city just prior to the crash. Investigators are determining if the two events are connected.

RCMP assure there is no concern for public safety and will be releasing no further details at this time.
