Police are looking for witnesses after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near the railway crossing on Lakeshore Drive NW.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, near the Lakeshore and 3rd Street intersection. The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries and was attended to by BC Ambulance, said Salmon Arm RCMP Const. Andrew Hodges in a media release.
The suspect vehicle was described as a white four-door sedan.
Hodges said police are looking to speak with any witnesses, or anyone with dash camera footage taken along Lakeshore Dr NW between 4:45 and 5:30 p.m. on the 31st. Information can be reported by calling the detachment at 250-832-6044 and referring to file 2025-526.
