Vernon RCMP looking to identify suspected arsonist

Police have released a photo of a suspect, hoping the public can identify him

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is seeking the public's help in identifying this man, believed to have committed arson on Jan. 14, 2025.

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is hoping the public can help identify a suspect in an ongoing arson investigation. 

The RCMP released a photo of a man Friday, Feb. 7. The man is believed to have been involved in setting a fire that damaged a structure on a Vernon property on Jan 14. 

We haven’t been able to identify this person and are reaching out to the public hoping someone can identify this person and help advance our investigation, said Constable Chris Terleski, RCMP media relations officer, in a media release. 

Anyone who may recognize the person in the photo is urged to contact Const. Kineshanko of the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file number 2025-823.
