To the editor:
I do not feel it is the best idea for Interior Health to share a building with the City of West 麻豆精选.
So many people I have spoken to are very disappointed that the land obtained some time back, between Bering and Butt Roads, continues to sit empty. It would be such a benefit for Interior Health to have their own building there.
Many would also like Westbank to have a small emergency clinic where ambulances could take patients to stabilize them before transporting them via helicopter or ambulance to 麻豆精选 General Hospital. Numerous Westside people have passed away after suffering major health issues, due to the long time it takes to get into 麻豆精选 with the heavy traffic.
I hope Christy Clark can do what she can to support Interior Health to get this building going.
