麻豆精选 is set to be well represented at the 2023 World Police and Fire Games.
More than 8,500 firefighters and police officers from more than 50 countries will compete in over 60 events at this year鈥檚 games taking place in Winnipeg.
The RCMP are sending a 鈥楾eam B.C.鈥� which feature six members of the 麻豆精选 RCMP as well as one officer from Kamloops, Dawson Creek, Chase and Green Timbers (RCMP headquarters in Surrey). The members are:
- Mike Gauthier 鈥� 麻豆精选;
- Ewan Dewolf 鈥� 麻豆精选;
- Tim Russell 鈥� 麻豆精选;
- Justice Lesuk 鈥� Kamloops;
- Casey Charles - Dawson Creek;
- Nenad Djuric 鈥� Green Timbers (B.C. RCMP HQ, in Surrey);
- Curtis Davis 鈥� Chase;
- John Allison 鈥� 麻豆精选;
- Ryan Henley 鈥� 麻豆精选;
- Steven Semlitch 鈥� 麻豆精选;
Many officers have thought about competing in the games in the past, including 麻豆精选 officers Gauthier and Russell, who also have been coaching youth sports in town for the past few years.
This year鈥檚 games in Winnipeg is taking place from July 28 to August 6.
The World Police and Fire Games are a biennial event.
