A pair of 麻豆精选 Rockets are being noticed by NHL scouts.
Rockets forward Kyle Topping and defenceman Libor Zabransky were among 38 WHL players named to NHL Central Scouting鈥檚 Players to Watch list for the 2018 draft.
Topping is in his second season with the Rockets having posted 21 points (8G, 13A) in 20 games so far. Zabransky is in his first season with 麻豆精选 after being taken 51st overall by the Rockets in the CHL Import Draft in June. So far the 17 year old has five points(1G, 4A) through 20 games played. Both Rockets are considered 鈥淐 Rating鈥� prospects.
There were 139 players from the Canadian Hockey League named to the list. It鈥檚 another in a series of rankings heading into the 2018 NHL Entry Draft which takes place June 22 and 23, 2018 in Dallas, TX.
The number of WHL players on the list represents a substantial growth for the league, up from the 27 listed in preliminary 鈥楶layers to Watch鈥� list in October.
