The 麻豆精选 Rockets hope to take what they can from last weekend鈥檚 loss against the Kamloops Blazers as the season continues.
麻豆精选 will take the ice for the first time this week when they host the Swift Current Broncos on Wednesday night.
In their 5-2 loss to the Blazers on Saturday, 麻豆精选 and Kamloops were neck-and-neck until the Rockets fell off in the third period and gave up three goals.
鈥淚 think that there鈥檚 a lot to learn from that game,鈥 said Liam Kindree on the loss to the Blazers.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a growth mindset, learning and looking past that game. Preparation wise, going into (Wednesday) we need to make sure we鈥檙e starting off hard and playing that way throughout the full 60 minutes. We鈥檙e really working on our power-play this week because that needs to capitalize.鈥
The Rockets鈥 power-play went 1-6 on Saturday night after being one of their biggest strengths to start the season.
Kindree said that 麻豆精选 will need to get back to the play that was working for them earlier.
鈥淲e need to play fast, play to the structure, play disciplined and bring a maximum effort,鈥 he said.
鈥淲hen we play fast and according to our structure we鈥檙e able to capitalize against teams,鈥 said Kindree.
