Enjoy local live music while supporting mental health initiatives in West 麻豆精选 at the end of May.
Rock The Ridge, a one-day music festival is returning to the amphitheatre of upper Glenrosa on May 31, supporting Beyond the Blues which is a postpartum mental health program offered by The Bridge Youth & Family Services.
鈥淩ock the Ridge is where community and music meet with purpose,鈥 said property owner and co-organizer Mike Aussant. 鈥淲e created this event to celebrate local talent, but also to give back in a meaningful way.鈥
Doors will open at 12 p.m. with the first act taking the stage at 1 p.m. Performances will be ongoing through the day until 8:30 p.m.
The artists lined up to perform are:
- James Hay Blues Band;
- Dan Tait;
- Shalisa;
- Neveah Dyson;
- Bran Sanders;
- Taylor Van Zant;
- Michael Stanley Edward;
- Cole Blakely;
- Take the Car Swimming
Local food trucks and a beer garden will also be part of the event.
A shuttle service will be available to ensure safe travel to and from the venue, with pickup points in Central 麻豆精选, West 麻豆精选, and Lakeview Heights. Departure times begin at 12:30 p.m., with return service starting after 9 p.m. Shuttle passes can be reserved with tickets, which are available on the Rock The Ridge website.
