Saturday afternoon, the Trail RCMP received a report that someone had sprinted headfirst into the side of a home in the 2000 block of Cook Avenue in Rossland.

A frontline officer and Emergency Health Services responded.

At the scene, they found a 30-year-old Rossland man with a head injury, and no idea how he got there.

When questioned, police say the man admitted to being under the influence of a drug at the time of the incident.

He was transported to Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital for medical assessment.

Fortunately, the house wasn鈥檛 damaged.

The same can鈥檛 quite be said for the man鈥檚 memory.

鈥淗e was using and not using his head during this incident,鈥 remarked Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.
