Salmon Arm RCMP responded after a resident allegedly cleared the snow from their driveway onto a neighbour's driveway on Feb. 5, 2025.

Salmon Arm RCMP got called into a frosty relationship between neighbours.

At 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, police received a report from a Canoe resident who said a neighbour had intentionally plowed all the snow from their driveway onto the complainant's driveway and called him names.

"There appeared to be history between the two un-neighbourly neighbours," said local RCMP media relations officer Const. Andrew Hodges in a media release.

"Police attended and spoke with the alleged snow plower, who denied shovelling snow onto the complainant鈥檚 driveway, but confirmed all the unfriendly names he called him."

Police advised the neighbours to avoid each other as best they could.
