The offense has dried up for the 麻豆精选 Rockets as they鈥檝e now lost three games in a row after falling 2-1 to the Victoria Royals on Friday night.

After a quiet first period, the Royals scored twice in the second period, with goals from Tanner Scott at the 4:20 mark and Logan Pickford at the 17:26 mark.

As the Rockets battled to try to mount a comeback, Victoria goaltender Braden Holt continued to stand his ground. It wasn鈥檛 until the final minute of the game, with the extra attacker out, when forward Andrew Cristall was able to beat Holt with his 11th goal of the year, making it 2-1. Gabriel Szturc assisted on the goal but that鈥檚 all the offense the Rockets could muster.

Holt made 26 saves in the win while Rockets netminder Jari Kykkanen made 18 saves in the loss.

With the win, Victoria leapfrogged 麻豆精选 in the standings to fifth in the Western Conference while the Rockets are now eighth with a 7-7-1 record.

The Rockets are back in action on Saturday night with the Red Deer Rebels coming to 麻豆精选. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. at Prospera Place.
