The West 麻豆精选 Warriors are back in the win column after losing four straight games.
After losing 2-1 to the Prince George Spruce Kings on Friday night (Nov. 25), the Warriors got their revenge on the Spruce Kings, beating them 4-3 on Saturday night.
Friday night was quiet for the Warriors offence as Jaiden Moriello scored his 12th goal of the season, but as a team, they only put 16 shots on net. Prince George forward Austin Fraser scored twice in the win.
Goaltender Justin Katz made 28 saves in the loss.
With the win, Prince George leap-frogged West 麻豆精选 in the Interior Conference.
But the Warriors willed their way back into second place in the conference with the win on Saturday night.
The two teams found themselves tied at two after a fast-paced first period. Alexi Van Houtte-Cachero and Riley Sharun鈥檚 goals sandwiched two Prince George goals.
In the second period, the teams traded goals again as Aiden Reeves scored for the Warriors just 15 seconds into the second period. Jake Schneider tied for the game for the Spruce Kings later in the period.
One of the Warriors newest forwards, Luke Devlin, scored his third goal of the season to give West 麻豆精选 the lead and the 4-3 victory.
Katz made 27 saves in the win on Saturday night.
With the weekend split, the Warriors are now 13-6-2-0 on the season.
